TCC 2009 Conference

For those interested in online learning (especially on the academic side of things), you may want to check out the TCC (Technology, Colleges, and Community) 2009 conference. This is the online conference I attended last year and liveblogged extensively. In 2007, I didn’t liveblog, but I did a summary post of ideas.

The conference is April 14-16, 2009. Early bird registration is only $69, so it’s a very affordable conference even if your budget is tight. At that price, how many presentations really have to be valuable to you in order to be worth the money?

They’re also accepting proposals right now. Our team has submitted a proposal to present on our conversion from Blackboard to Sakai. Last year we presented on using Web 2.0 tools to collaborate with SMEs.

I’ve really enjoyed this learning experience the last two years, and it’s such a good deal that I wanted to share and publicize it a bit.
