Thankful for Time Offline

Like the rest of the US, I’m celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday. This year Dave and I are driving up to Minneapolis to spend time with my grandparents and the rest of my family. My brother and sister will both be there with their significant others, so everyone’s going to be together.

I’m not bringing my laptop with me; I’m giving myself a few days of being offline to just be with my family. I’m thankful for having some time to reflect and reconnect with them, and to have some balance from being connected all the time.
