We interrupt your regularly scheduled bookmarks for a short commercial. In the first two links below, Stephen Downes and George Siemens are talking about an assignment for one of PLS’s courses, Building Online Collaborative Environments. This is the first course I designed for PLS, and I have to say that I’m just tickled that the student work has gotten the attention of people like Stephen & George. It is a course where teachers not only learn the technology tools, but where we really tried to model the pedagogy of using technology to connect and have students lead. In my own extremely biased opinion, I think it’s a really good course.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled post…
Stephen Downes comments on student work from the course Building Online Collaborative Environments, where students support positions for and against connectivism
George Siemens comments on some of the student work for a course I developed, Building Online Collaborative Environments. The specific assignment is a wiki resource where students defend a position either for or against connectivism.
